The Monkey Apple tree can be found in open woodland, on rocky hills and coastal forests in all of Southern Africa. The fruits of the tree are harvested and then dried in the sun for up to one year. These dried fruit are then used to make unique candle holders, candles, pencil tidies, pots, and ornaments.
These balls are also meticulously hand painted.
